Move your tongue around the inside of your mouth - it's "kind of" like that. The baby is moving around inside of you, it feels like movement, not like gas bubbles, at 20 weeks though, it's hard to tell, give it a little more time, make sure and see your doctor if you are concerned.

At this stage, the bubbly feeling is the baby moving around. Some people say it feels like butterflies, bubbles, gas, that sort of thing. In a couple of weeks the kicks will be much stronger and your husband will be able to feel them while he holds his hand on your belly. Also, if the baby is facing your spine, you won't feel as much movement as when the baby faces outward. Congrats!

First, you won't feel a huge kick. You will feel what's called 'lightning'. It feels like someone just gently traces a line down the middle of the inside of your stomach, so yes...you could be feeling the baby and not gas. At 20 weeks, that's definitely about the right time. Later, you'll start to feel those kicks! When that happens, you'll know it, lol!

The first time I felt my son move, I told my hubby that it felt like someone knocking on the other side of my belly button. You might go a while until you feel it again, but soon it will become stronger to the point that you can see your babies body parts rolling around in there. It's so amazing, congrats!

The "flutters" is a common first-feel of fetal movement. So that weird bubbling feeling just may be the little one making his presence known!!
Something I did when I thought I was feeling those first butterfly movements... I'd eat something sugary and then lean back in my chair and just relax. I'd focus on my breathing and the feeling of my body, and soon enough, the flutters would pick up and I just knew it was my little guy dancing with glee at the M&M's he was just treated to =)
Later on, you'll be able to feel the baby move as he grows. As far as what it feels like later on...it feels like someone is poking you from the inside, and beyond that, like someone is kicking/rolling around inside your stomach!

You might feel like butterflies at first, then maybe a little trembling, and sometimes it does feel like gas. Later on, when the baby is bigger, you will feel the kicking. You will feel sudden thumps, you might even see your baby's limbs pressing against you, and you will see a big bump. I would see the hand and the butt go against my belly, the kicks are just little tiny ones - but you will feel them and know exactly what they are when it happens. You might want to shake your belly a little with your hand when you feel gassy - he might move when you shake it a little bit. Enjoy - It's an awesome feeling! ;)

It does feel like gas, or bubbles, or butterflies. Well that's the best way to describe with my experience. I started feeling it about 18 weeks.

It feels alot like gas until the baby is big enough to start rubbing up against your belly. You can tell the difference after awhile.
