The only color that does this is the blue. All the other colors print correctly. Is there anything that we can do without spending money on cartridges.

You did not specify the model. If your printer properties has utilties like clean print nozzles, you might give that a try. Usually, there is not going to be a blue cartridge. That color may be a combination of cartridges, depending on whether your particular model has one or mutiple catridges for color.

U need to clean the cartridge from start printer and fax right click ur printer then services then algin and clean the cartridge follow the direction on both.

clean the print heads
then calabrate the color
should be in utlities if you click on file then print or printer setup...
also make sure the printer drivers are installed properly...if you are unsure uninstal the printer
download the drivers and reinstall

Right click on the printer driver and go to property then set it to color .

some times your printer will not print them out because your pixels on your computer is not high enough.
