I downloaded a wrng pic i was looking for pictures and clicked on one that i didnt want and know its on my desktop and i cant get rid of it if any one can help that would be great

I tryed deleting it but it wont work i tryed ad away and spy bot search and destroy that didnt find anything

Some ppl have it wrng its not a backround its a icon on my desktop it looks like a picture but it isnt when u open it it says no preview availble and when u right click it it has only 4 options privew edit prin and send to soo i cant do anything i tryed unlocked that dont work

You have to go into control panel and then display. Click on the desktop tab and you will see the current file that shows up on your desktop. You can simply choose another file or have no wallpaper whatsoever (the first selection - none).

System Restore to the last available date.
File > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenence > On The Left Hit System Restore
You May Have To Switch to Catagory View

I DID THIS BEFORE so perhaps I have your solution. Instead of saving the image as a desktop image you saved it as a desktop item. To remove it right click on your desktop select properties then click on the desktop tab. Then click on the customize desktop button and then click on the web tab. The image you are trying to get rid of should be listed here as a web link. remove it here.

I never had head of this it might be a trojan or adware and it is pretty strong. One way the trojan or Adware file can be delete is in safe mode. To get to safe mode u restart ur computer and then press F8 and choose safe mose in the list then in the same modes log in as adminastor and delete it or log in as ur screen name it always works.

put another pic up for your desktop. That will get rid of the old one

download a free program called Unlocker. It will free up whatever is not allowing you to delete it.

search for another picture and save it as your background. it should get rid of the previous one. before your parents come in and catch you looking at porn
