the doors
lynard skynard
the animals
grateful dead
beatles
pink floyd

the thing is that these bands have always had followings. we just had to change to classic rock stations to hear them.

listen to any classic rock station and you will understand why they never really left even tho a lot of them are dead now.

look at how long that dark side of the moon was on the albums list. the longest running in the top 100 for years and years. there has to be a reason why you can still hear it today, even tho the album was made in the 70's. almost 40 years and still gets airplay. what does that tell you?

Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Motley Crue
White Lion
Ratt
Styx

Do you want the whole list? I don't think I can come up with all of them so quickly. . . Classic Rock? By whose standards are you defining classic? 60's? 70's? 80's? This question is wide open!
