I don't believe any PG movies should be shown on networks that are supposed to be family friendly or geared towards children. PG is an acronym for "Parental Guidance", which is hardly ever performed. If parents aren't going to monitor what their children watch then it would be irresponsible for television stations to market themselves for children or as family friendly and show PG features knowing that parents aren't involved.

they perhaps should have a G AND a PG channel with the cap on PG on anything 18+ and a 12 + on G, then both ends of the child/teen market are covered and both ends are happy, disney has plenty of movies for the teen market that bores younger children and vice versa

They should play the G rated shows during the day, and the PG shows later. They cater to younger people. There is plenty of other shyt to watch on tv that have swear words if that is what you want.

No no no. There are hardly any channels left that you can let your kids watch without checking for curse words every five minutes. Leave the damn Disney channel alone. You want swear words, go watch HBO.

Children have NO NEED to be hearing cursing and swearing on TV !! Its bad enough that they have to hear it in public when parents can't exactly shelter their ears the entire time. Its enevitable that they're going to hear swearing, either in public or even a slip up from the parents themselves, but there's no need to add to that particular education by "slipping one in" during a Lilo and Stitch episode !! It should be up to the parents to decide when and how to tell their kids about "grown up" words like that.

It's family entertaiment to watch with the kids. I don't really want to have cussing on that! Plus at times it can be magical and we all remember our favourite Disney cartoons we watched as kids with great affection.

G is fine. PG is not as much Disney. But PIrates is PG so they may have to change that.

As a mom I say leave it the way it is. It's hard enough to find something in the evening that I feel safe letting my child watch.

It's already PG enough as it is. They don't need swear words for that.

YES!!! Some of the shows that I've been seeing lately with my nephew and even on my own have been dealing with things of a more "adult nature".
