Purchase a few items from the store like diaper cream, diapers, baby bath, baby grooming kit, bibs, teething ring etc. Bring them with you to the shower in a basket. (MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN HOW MUCH EACH ITEM COST). At the shower, hand out pens a paper to each person. Show each item one at a time, and make them right down how much they think it cost. At the end, reveal the true price, who ever is the closest get a little gift (just something small from the dollar store) and the mommy to be can take home all the item.
THIS IS REALLY FUN! Buy a pack of size 1 diapers and towards the end, make each woman there write a personal message on a diaper, (IE- HAHA YOUR CHANGING POOP AND I"M SLEEPING!). At the end give the diapers to the mommy to be. THESE DIAPERS ARE FOR NIGHT TIME CHANGING ONLY! AND SHE CAN NOT PEAK AT THEM BEFORE HAND! My sister did this for me at my shower, and I got the biggest kick reading messages at 2 in the morning during diaper changes.
GOOD LUCK

I went to a shower where they called the mother of the mommy-to-be and got the info on what the mommy-to-be was like as a baby. EX: when did she first walk, talk, pediatrician, hospital of birth, weight, height, what was her favorite toy, what was your favorite gift she made you etc. Then they typed up the questions, handed them out, had everyone answer as much as they could, then asked the mommy-to-be the questions out loud. She had to see how much she knew about herself and everyone else got to check and see if their answers were right. It was fun even if you didn't know the mommy-to-be very well because it was fun to watch her try and come up with the answers.
Another "game" so to speak is ask the attendees ahead of time to bring as many diapers as they can to the shower. The person who brings the most wins a prize. It's great because the mommy-to-be gets all kinds of diapers. (ask for all sizes) and everyone has fun seeing who brought the most. The shower I went to the mommy-to-be walked away with over 800 diapers, (the winner was 300 and some) as well as the typical shower gifts.
Good luck!

There's a lot of fun baby shower games you can find online. But my favorite is the cottonball game. Here's how you play: All you need is about 1 bag of cotton balls, 2 bowls (one big bowl and one medium bowl that's not too deep), a table spoon, and a blind-fold. Pour all the cottonballs into the biggest bowl, blind-fold the player, (one player plays at a time), put the other bowl on top of the players head, (someone can hold it up there if it won't stay and to make sure they don't cheat), the other bowl goes on the players lap, and give them the spoon, the player then scoops cottonballs from the big bowl and puts them in the bowl on top of their head. The player with the most cottonballs win the game. Oh, one last thing, it'll need to be timed usually one minute per player. It's a really fun game!!!

My mother in law did my last baby shower and she had some great games! One was she took the labels off several jars of baby food and passed them around with disposable spoons for each guest to taste. They all had numbers on the jars so the guests had to write down what they thought each food was. The guest with the most correct answer won a homemade dessert! The guest also had to pick a teammate. The teammates each had one hand behind their back and had to work together to diaper the baby. The fastest team got a prize! My favorite thing was a book that she put together of parenting questions and advice for me that each guest had filled out. Whenever I had questions I checked that book!

I have a great game for co-ed showers. Have the mom and dad-to-be sit with paper and pens, along with the guests. The host asks everyone to write 1 to 15 (or more) down the margin. Ask the mom-to-be traits that she'd like the baby to have. For example: Whose eyes do you prefer your baby to have?; Whose brains do you prefer your baby to have? Everyone, including the dad-to-be, has to try to match her answers. At the end, the couple has to reveal their answers. It's great for laughs, especially when the woman wants the baby to have her hair but the man wants the baby to have his! It would work too for just women, but the guests won't be able to look at the dad-to-be's eyes, etc. as the questions are being asked.

my friend just threw me a baby shower this past saturday acually and one game i never heard of was "Guess whats in the diaper"..lol you take real diapers, 5 - 10 however many you want to use and you have to melt a different candy bar in each one and the guests have to guess what kind of candy is in each one. the one that guesses the most right wins.. ill be honest, the candy does not look pretty after its melted in a diaper but everyone had a great time playing the game!!!! good luck!

Give everybody a piece of paper and a pen or pencil. Tell them to write down what the mom-to-be says when she opens their present. Dont tell them or the mom-to-be why. After shes done with the gifts tell everybody to read what they wrote and explain thats what was said by the mom-to-be on the night the baby was conceived. lol..its fun..You will probably get a lot of "Awwe, how cute" and "look how little".

we played baby bingo. i think you can buy it at a party supply store. i like the one where you taste the baby food and whoever guesses the most of the flavors wins. we put m&m's in a bottle and had them guess how many were in there. whoever wins gets the candy. mommy keeps bottle. we also played a trick on the guests. we laid out all these baby items like a pair of socks, a bottle, pacifier, etc... then told everyone they had 2 minutes to look at all the stuff. the guests thought they were going to have to write down what all was in the pile but then the mommy (me) walked out the room and they had to write down what i was wearing; including jewelry, etc... whoever got the most items right won.

This is just a silly game but it makes everyone laugh.
Place a blindfold on person. Have them sit on the floor or in a chair with a table in front of them. Place a big bowl of cottonballs in front of them. Hand them a big flat spatula, and have them scoop cottonballs out and place them on their head . The person with the most on their head in a given amt of time is the winner.
