How about cooking? For example, you could make spaghetti. Pour water into a big pot - heavy to carry, sloshing. Put it on the stove, put on a lid, and turn on the heat. Chop an onion (complete with gradually exaggerated crying), press some garlic - big bulb, hard to press. Check the water - not boiling yet - turn up the heat. Open a can of tomatoes and add it to the sauce - of course they splatter on you, so you need to wipe that up, maybe get out a big apron out and put it on. Check the water again - finally boiling. Open the box of spaghetti and put them in the water, cramming them to make them bend and slide into the water. Several drop out of the box onto the floor - pick them up and check to be sure no one's watching before you add them to the pot. Stir, checking your watch. Stir the sauce. Add spices, wave the scent of the sauce toward you and inhale. Put a colander in the sink and drain the spaghetti, splashing a bit on you - run your hand under cold water for the burn. Shake out the excess water and put the spaghetti in a bowl. Put the sauce on top, then grate some cheese over it. Wind a bit around you fork and put it in your mouth, then purse your lips and suck up that last strand that's hanging out. Wipe up the tomato sauce that slopped onto your cheek. Pat your belly and smile.

I pantomimed myself coming out of a large picture frame. Just use a large frame and act like a painting who comes to life and comes out of the frame and get into some kind of mischief in the house then act like you hear someone coming and climb back into the frame and freeze in the picture pose you started in. It went over quite well for me. Good luck.

I pantomimed a baseball game once. Everyone recognoses a ballplayers movements. If you make them and exagerate a little people will get it.
