Try Yahoo! or MSN instant messenger and it will give you the option of communicating with a webcam. (If the camera needs to be installed make sure and follow installation instructions or it may not work.) If you need more help try the manufacturer's Web site as they often offer specific setup information and software (called drivers) related to your brand of camera. Hope this helps.

If both are using the Yahoo Messenger, then you've 60% of your problem solved. You're recommended to use the same latest version of Yahoo! Messenger. After you logged in the Yahoo! Messenger, click on 'My Webcam'. To me another 40% is trying to configure the camera, such as the compatiblity to Yahoo! and the lighting settings. You might wanted to use a branded camera.

Activate your Yahoo Messenger and click on webcam. And/or you may have to use the software that came with your camera(s). I think if one logs on first to the Messenger you can invite the other one and get hooked up like that.

You each need a webcam. Just go get one. You don't even have to have the same type or brand. They are easy to install. The instructions are totally step-by-step.
