I just found out I'm about 4 1/2 weeks pregnant. For the last 2 weeks I've been very nauseated. I have always heard that most people don't get morning sickness until about 6 weeks. I was just wandering if this is normal? Different smells are really bothering me and can't hardly eat anything. I've made a dr appt but can't get in for another 3 weeks. Just wandering if it's normal I know each pregnacy is different just wanting some advice. Serious answers only please.

Of course it's normal! And congratulations on the new baby! Each baby tells you his/her needs differently, and you just got to know sooner than most. Just pay attention to what your body wants and everything will work out for the best.
For those who say differently, tell them to stuff it. You're the Mom, this is your baby, and that's how it goes.
Good luck!

Morning sickness this early is normal because I was really sick when I found out that I was pregnant. I could not eat much, I could not smell certain things, I was so sick and mind last the entire first trimester.. I was miserable but now that I am in my second trimester 26 weeks I feel alot better. I do not know what I would of done if I kept feeling so sick.

What you can do about liquids is drink a little at a time like you been doing. Because you do not want to over do it.. You have to try to get liquids because you do not want to end up at the hospital for dehytration. That happened to me with my second pregnancy and I had to get an IV put in my arm...

I'm pregnant and got morning sickness early on, when I called my doctor to talk to them today about things I can do to keep food down, she said it was actually a good thing I was so nauseated because that meant that I had high amounts of pregnancy hormones which means more than likely the baby is healthy. It probably means the same for you too. Many people get morning sickness this early on. Not to scare you, but there also might be a SMALL chance you have twins because your hormone levels are stronger with twins and morning sickness usually starts earlier on. I feel for you right now because I'm going through the same thing and just can't keep anything down. I'm tired of leaning over a toilet and just would like my tummy to be full and happy :)

I am also 4 wks and this is my 1st pregnancy and I have the same symptoms.I cant stand the way fried chicken smells, but try eating fruit to stay hydrate. Ginger ale and saltine crackers are my best friend, also instead of eating big meals I eat a little at at a time throughout the day. Good luck

Each pregnancy is different. You really sound pregnant! I had this at 8 weeks with my first child and 3 months with the third (I wasn't sure why it took so long that time). But at about 4 weeks, I had migraines to initiate my pregnancy symptoms, so it varies with the person, too.

With my second pregnancy i was the same, so don't worry. As you said each pregnancy is different, so yours is unique to you. I found eating raw vegies or lots of fruit helped me. And make sure you drink plenty of water. Just remember those hormones are changing from day one, so you are just as normal as the next person.

You are VERY normal for a PREGNANT person....Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Not only is it possible, it happend that early to me too. Try some crackers for the morning sickness. I also found that anything with ginger also helped.
