OK Nissan Master Technician typing. the diagnostic trouble code for this item is P1336 The sensor is located behind the drivers side cyl head vertically mounted into the transmission bell housing with one 10 millimeter bolt unfortunately being so close to the exhaust on the left side there is also a metal shield that must be removed the bolt gos thur it and when you replace the sensor arms above your head from laying on the floor or standing up under a rack all done by feel the tin shield must be back in the proper place. Frustrating for sure but important enough for me to tell you this my hands barely fit and with just two finger tips I can position shield sensor align the three holes tin, sensor, and bell housing bolt and start the bolt threading down into the transmission. Next the bolt must be tight and there is not much room patience one bolt side at a time 10mm craftsman wrench Now is the time for gear wrench. Just get'er done! That sensor counts the flywheel teeth and helps the computer tell if the engine is misfiring the black connector on top has a squeeze tab and pull back on the black plastic not the wires
