Firstly, Carol, you will need to spell curriculum and instruction correctly if you want to impress the board of reviewers. Also your question is a little unclear. Do you want to know how to write or what to write about? I will try to answer the latter. State what you have done before, what you are doing currently and what you plan to do in the future. Explain how what you have learnt can be applied. Specifically how you would apply it in your career and how your students will benefit. How this new methodology will improve the teaching and learning process and have a better outcome. Hope this helps.

Well Why did you? Is the real reason really dumb? Don't worry I am a dentist because it was one of the majors that didn't require a foreign language. Boy did I lie in my interviews. I could tell you lots of made up "good" reasons. Problem is you better know what you are getting yourself into. If you haven't a reason go learn a foreign language

Is this question because you aren't sure you want to write it or aren't sure how to write the paper?
If you aren't sure why you want the degree, or aren't sure how to write it, you probably shouldn't be writing it because it doesn't sound like you should be pursuing a graduate degree.

If you can't spell curriculum and you can't explain in your own words why you want a degree in the subject then you are not well suited for a career in education.
