Having sex before there 18?

I was 14 when I first had sex, but that wasn't by choice. I didn't have sex again till I was 16 and I got pregnant. I havent had sex since I got pregnant and I dont want to have sex anymore till I'm older and stable. I just want to know from teens and everone else why teens are haveing sex before there 18. So please someone or everone tell me why most teens are doing this.

I asked myself why I had sex before I was 18 and this is what I realised: I had sex the seconded time because I was and I am in love with the guy that father my son.

He knows I dont want to have sex again till I feel I can deal with what comes sometimes with sex, But to everyone who answered THANKS!

I had sex when I was 15, I'm almost 16 now and I did it because I loved the guy. I don't mean it was lust or infatuation, it's love. I do see myself in the long term with him too still once we get past some issues together. I know we have something so I didn't just give it up to anyone. We're not having sex anymore because I learned I wasn't ready to deal with it emotionally and I promised myself that I'd wait till I was at least 18 till I did it again so that we don't have another pregnant teen in the world. I don't regret what I did either, it's forced me to mature and learn. The guy also respects that I don't want to have sex again for a few years and we're still dating. My parents know as well and they still love me and support me. Please don't stereo type teens that have sex as sluts because that's not true at all and don't judge the parents of the teens that did have sex early it's not their fault.

Well. I first had sex when I was 14. And now I am 17 and pregnant. Even though I have the support of my fiance who has been my boyfriend since I was 13 and my family but it's still going to be hard. I am currently a sophmore at a university. I really reccomend for teens under 18 to wait.there is no need to rush into it. Even though I don't regret that I am going to have a child but I know it's tough.

Well, I'm not a teen anymore but it wasn't too long ago that I was. I met my fiance 1 month after I turned 17 and well, we fell in love. None of my friends were having sex, so it wasn't pressure. we've been together 4 years and have 2 children now. I guess when it's right you know.

Several reasons:

Some do it because they have been molested by some pervert and think that is what they are suppose to do.

Some think they will never get pregnant or catch a disease.

Some believe all the lies the little boy or grown man is saying. I call this the I Love You lie. Young girls are a fetish to old men.

Some are tricked in to it

Peer pressure

I'm 14 haven't had sex, and i don't want to till im married. I've seen so many people have sex and get caught, reputation ruined, messed up due to pregnacy. But I just don't see why it is worth all that plus you could get an std. I'm not sure why people do it, maybe just to feel loved!?

Did you not hear curiosity killed the cat. Yes every teenager girl or boy wants to explore their body. They want to learn more about sex.But its sad they try exploring each others body together and during this process they get excited and aroused and have sex.Teenagers must explore their bodies they must know themselves, but they must do it alone in the private of their room.If they fail to understand something their mother is the best guide, teacher and adviser in this regard. And you do not have to feel shy of your mother she also went through the same thing in her days. She will be Glad to help you in fact she will feel proud of you that you confine in her and look up to her for guidance.
The other reason why I feel teenagers are having sex at this tender age is for fun and pleasure. They are become lazy and insecure and wish to keep themselves indoors all the time. Teenagers must go out to play games, engage them selves in reading in a public library,go trekking ,jogging swimming, all this will divert their mind and keep them busy

The way I feel about that is: If they are having protected sex...(birth control and condom) or they can fully support themselves and a child with out help from the government or their parents. I don't care. I don't think we really should care; it's their business just as it's an "adults" business if they have sex!?!?

Peer pressure plus the media tells them it's okay *coughmtvcough*. They may also be searching for "love" because their parents fail to pay attention to them. They may think they are "in love" when it's just lust. Then they tell themselves "oh we are going to be married anyways" then do it even though it's not true. They could also be uninformed about the consequences, or believe nothing will happen to them. There could be many different reasons they do it.

I was 18.

I thought I love the guy of 3 years together. Turned out, he showed his true colors by cheating on me, lying to me and rather live the life of a redneck slob.

It is amazing how people change.
