Is pornography a good thing, a bad thing or neither?

Its a good thing. Sexual acitivities produce endorphins which is well known to be a mood enhancer. So when someone releives themselve while watching porn they are enhancing their mood. More people in this world need to watch porn and relieve themselve. Then many some of the bickering will stop.

If you didn't get the 'birds and bees' talk, then it can be educational, which is good. But if you get the bad porn, the stuff that teaches the previous student of sexual process how to slap around women or painfully humiliate men or engage in sex or public nudity in busy, public places--then some really wrong lessons are learned, and that is bad. If, however, you are learning some new techniques to please your lover, or one of you isn't getting quite as physically motivated as normal, then it can be helpful. If it becomes a replacement for meeting actual people to get personally involved, it is a bad thing. By and large, I find it no big thing, but for some it can be very helpful or instructive, and others it can teach some really wrong lessons. If your porn makes you look at your dog fido in a new and special way or that girls can be ridden by horses instead of riding them, you may be watching the wrong kind of porn.

Depends on how it's used and what consitutes the pornography. If someone is looking at kids or ignoring a relationship because they like porn better, then that is bad.

I used to think that porn was no big deal as I go older I realized that it's like a drug - extremely addictive for some people. Some people get so hooked on the thrill that they can't perform with a real person and they sink into darker and darker fantasies. It actually does hurt people. Very young girls / boys either get forced, seduced or tricked into it. Many people who choose to do it have been victims of sexual abuse and are used to being exploited.

It is bad. It causes people to look at others as objects and it causes strife in relationships. The porn industry also supports the right of people to look at child pornography.

Its Gross, and people that are still together in relationships all seem to be older couples- before pornography was ever around. It's sick and its tarnishing people and their close, intimate moments like Sex.
