I posted a simple question yesterday, that didn't have a simple answer - well I asked for a single number - there were only two possibilities, and everyone answered wrong.
The correct answer was "2" but everyone posted the answer as "3" which was wrong.
Just a little while ago, I posted a hint in the details of that question.
Which should be obvious if you bothered to read the details.
But peeps are in such a rush, they don't read the details.
By the way, even the level 5's failed to answer correctly - before I posted the Hint. I'll be back in a couple hours to see if anyone bothered to read the hints.
Yes, this is one set of 10 points, you peeps really gotta work for to get.
I think I will start asking more trick questions in the future, for the sake of provoking and stimulating intelligence where it needs to be - you're welcome to help "shake the trees, to see what falls out" and ask some trick questions too.

People are quick to answer simple questions because they don't want to think. And they like to see a little box on their screen that says, "you earned two points." Simple questions with too many directions confuse people because the brain can only take so much stimulation.... also, they probably didn't even read the whole question. Unfortunately, we live in a world of people who cannot follow directions!

In my experience, the more simple questions are also the more general. They apply (and thus, appeal) to a wider audience, and are more likely to get a response. A question such as "What's your favourite colour?" applies to most people and can be answered by most people. More detailed questions, such as mathematics questions, or grammar questions, or even large life problem questions, are harder to answer because fewer people can identify with the topic at hand and answer applicably. They might click on it and say "I donno", which is a cheap way of getting points, or they might not even respond at all.
When the simple questions require only a one or two word answer to boot, people recognize that right away and click to open it and answer it. (For example, asking a question like "Who here likes to eat potatoes?" will get probably more than one page of answers because many people do, and all they have to say is "I do" or "not me" and they've answered the question.)
Anyway, in regards to your details about why people don't bother to read details: they're lazy and just want points. I would also gather a guess that some people look at what was written above and type the same thing to seem like they know the answer as well.
And last but not least, some questions don't NEED long answers. Some questions are just begging for a good "shut up" or joke answer of some kind.

I've read your question from yesterday and this one from today, both of which you posted multiple times (for attention).
I would still say the correct answer is three, unless a BEAR cub doesn't count as a bear. With that reasoning, does a BABY human not count as a human?
Or was your "hint" pointing toward something else that I'm still not seeing.....

It seems like you're playing games with us and seem to be enjoying watching us run around like little ants escaping a child visciously grinning as he waves around a piece of glass in threat to the ants.
Are you simply trying to throw your intellect around and maintain your superiority? Or is this a vain effort to convince yourself that you're still number one?
This is a community effort and we have pulled together (for the most part) to answer questions and help each other. You're simply testing us and being arrogant and condescending about it.
I hope you're proud.
Oh, and by the way, your question about how many bears there were in the story of the three bears - if it's goldilocks and the three bears you refer to, there were three bears. Otherwise you're referring to another story and another set of bears - if you weren't clear, it's you who was wrong, not us.
A baby bear is still a bear nevertheless - that's why it 's called a 'BEAR-CUB'.
