i believe that they are eurasian (part american, part asian) could i be wrong? they speak japanese..but their names are american..such as tifa lockheart <3

I'll go with you on that..their being Eurasian. Yeah, they do speak Japanese, but names like Vincent Valentine *deep fangirl sigh ^_~* and Cid Highwind *and mostly eveyone else save for Yuffie* don't exactly sound Asian, do they?

they're terran it's a fictinal world with one race though diffrent colors (you should get dirge of cerberus if you like ff7 it continues and explains a lot more i beat it 2 times already) though the terran thing is my opinion
plus the very last movie after the credits ya know the teaser has gackt as a bad azz with one wing like sepheroth from kingdomhearts he may be the next bad guy "hail wiess" you'll get it later

I'd rather say that Cloud would be half german or american and half japanese
cuz japanese dont have yellow hear.....and cloud's eyes are not the asian tipe too

im not really sure , i think their world is a complete different one to ours , but i could be wrong. all i know is that its based around a place called midgar.
