I want to star using a mouse for my laptop but is it different from the desktop mouse? I have the old mouse but it doesnt seem to fit anywhere. So do i need to buy a special one for my laptop?
Thanks!

Your laptop has USB ports. Your old mouse is probably a PS2 connector (small round barrel), which doesn't fit the USB port. While there are adaptors available, suggest getting a USB mouse. The "laptop" variety are smaller than the desktop type. I like the Microsoft Wireless Notebook Mouse.

Well if your talkin about your old mouse then it probably has a PS2 connector on the end, which on newer laptops it doesnt have a input on it. You could buy an adapter but by the time you do all that you can buy a new USB mouse for like 10 bucks. Its just worth upgrading to a new USB mouse.

...you can get a new mouse with the right attachment or you can probably just get a US adaptor for your mouse. If your Laptop doesn't have USB ports you should take it back.
