My friend and I want to do related costumes. Matching but not the same. We were thinking today and we came up with a few good ideas:
Salt & Pepper
Chip & Dale
Street Signs
along with some others. We don't want store bought costumes or costumes that you can find at stores like Party City. Please note we are 13 and want to have costumes that are more considerable for a costume contest.
Thanks for your ideas=)

Tomato and Ketchup, Mary(frilly dress, apron and a pretty bonnet with a sparkly leash)attached to sheep(if you do not wish to invest in a full sheep costume can dress in white flannel pajamas-take cotton-the large patches and cotton balls glue or staple to a small white kerchieftake a very large white hankearchief if can't find a white triangle shaped scarf-cotton just on topof the scarf) make a collar from cotton, wrist cuffs from cotton, leg cuffs from cotton and a tail-very fluffy-the neck, wrist and ankle collars should be wide and very fluffy from the cotton.
You can take cotton balls and glue or staple on the other parts of the pajamas but you don't unless you wish to cover all in cotton balls. You can pull at the coton balls to fluff the cotton even more.
Red Riing Hood and the wolf------all you need is red cape-can use a terry short robe with a hood-if you can't find red can dye a white red. The wolf can use the same principle as the sheep but dye the cotton black and make some pointy ears covered black dyed cotton from construction paper
Fairie and flower---can go to a seconhand store-consignment store-get white frilly curtainsand paste the white frilly fairie costume on one piece bathing suit-maybe your Mom/Moms can help-can also use the white frilly curtain material and paste or staple on cardboard wings. Can also paste/glue glitter on wings-multicolored would be nice. From Cardboard make a cutout-for the head-with face showing of a daisy like flower head-also cheap curtain, print material from cheap dresses and so on can make the material that you cut out anad then paste on the cardboard. A green onepiece bathing suit is the body can paste on either real green stuff from the yard-very ,very big leaves with some small flower cutouts pasted here and there and green stuff pasted on sneakers. For the fairie colored tights and old sneakers that you spread glue on the sides and the top and then put a lot of glitter either one color-silver or multi colored. The fairie can also have check out WalMart for body and face glitter and fake jewels, fake flowers to put into the hair------WalMart has a lot of stuff you can use that is cheap-...the flower cah have yellow face for daisy has a yellow cnter with white-why the white ral frilly curtain material flowers petals. Sounds like fun to do. Have fun and if contest hope you win.

Peanut butter and Jelly
Shampoo and Conditioner
Hippies
1920's flappers
You could have Cinderella and Bell (beauty and the beast) with torn dresses and bloody noses and all like they had just got into a fight.
Or even better, Lindsay Lohan and Hillary Duff got in a fight
HAHA!~

Before I read the description, I was about to suggest Chip & Dale, the rescue rangers.
Maybe Bert & Ernie?
