I'm trying to compile a disk of good songs while I drive an hour to work everyday on a country road. Im thinking stuff like Sheryl Crow. I'm not a big fan of country music.

Well if you like Techno at all "All Fired Up" I and II are pretty good.

There are two versions of each. The kind you find in Walmart has ONE CD. The kind you order from the TV commercial is two disks. You can pick them up at eBay but make sure you know which you are buying.

If you enjoy female singers check out the album Let's Get Out of This Country by Camera Obscura. It's really fantastic light and mellow music, perfect for a drive.

I recommend any of Chris Rea's songs, especially "The Road to Hell."
The song, "I Drove All Night" by Celine Dion, is good, too, especially if you are driving at night.

I hope I helped! ^_^
