My friends keep calling me a girly girl and im not like that at all just becuz i wore a skirt to school and this really dressy shirt!! Sould i show them that im not kike that and wear like real big jogging pant and big shirts and have my hair up in a bun with hair falling out off it every where!! And every body saying this to me u better not do that you'll break a nail!!

Ignore those kids it doesn't matter what other people think of you, you should just be you & forget what everyone else is saying to you. You shouldn't let them get to you thats exactly what they want, for you to get upset. If you just ignore them they will realize that it doesn't bother you & eventually stop. Its okay for a girl who doesn't dress up that often to wear a dressy outfit.

Tell your "friends" they can start telling you how to dress when they start buying your clothes! In the meantime, stick with what you want an do your own thing, honey. Those "friends" are just jealous of your fabulous legs which the boys noticed! Believe me, guys would love to have a girly-girl any day of the week. Be individual; you don't have to follow everything some snotty nosed girl does in school. Just be YOU !!

Sounds like they are simply very immature and jealous. Being a girl is nothing that you should be ashamed of. One of the perks of being a girl is the ability to dress up nice, feel good about yourself and live your life free. Don't let others stupid influence change the way you wish to portray yourself. Be happy and look great, cause I'm sure they can't.

If it's so stupid then don't entertain it by traying to convince them your something else. Just be you. By trying to counter act this girly-girl outfit with a boyish look your just admiting to them that what they say to you make you question yourself. And looking insecure is worst then looking like a girly-girl. Keep in mind that when people tease it's because they are jealous or insecure.

You shouldn't care about what other people think. If you want to dress up for school, go ahead. If you like the way you dress then don't change anything. If these so-called friends keep bothering you then they really aren't your friends.

You dressed like that ONCE only and they're teasing you about it? How weird. Anyway my advice to you is, you know, ignore them. They'll stop eventually when they realize that you're actually not the "girly girl" type.

i never wear skirts to school and i showed up to my friend's house once (i was wearing a skirt for something nice) and she kept teasing me about it. dont wear big pants and huge t-shirtsif you dont want to- but you could wear jeans with designs on them and a T-shirt that fits you well (something from abercrombie, hollister, aeropostle, etc.)

I think you should be your self. Wear what you want but make sure it neat and talk to your friend. Explain to them you just loves to me neat. If they can't except that, then they really are not your friend. I think you should find new friends.
