I love Man U, but, please, dont ever say that thing again. United are the Red Devils and always will be. Rooney probably won't get a break 80% of the time, but he'll learn to adapt. After all, Eric Cantona and Roy Keane both adapted pretty well. Since the 90's, Man U has had a tradition of keeping at least one passionate, and somewhat angry, player in their squad- it's just how they play. Cantona was also a player hated by all except Red Devils, but he learned to adapt. Under a manager like SIR Alex Ferguson, Rooney will also learn how to disguise his anger in situations that the refs won't be able to use as an excuse to get him sent off, and the FA won't be able to suspend him so long.

As a shorter answer, no. There is currently a double standard against Rooney and, it seems, any team he plays on. Against Fulham, A guy named brown literally jumped on Giggs who was going in for a tackle, but he only got a yellow, while Rooney is banned for 3 matches over some guy's acting.

in my opinion, Rooney should be more careful in the next games because he do some unnecessary tackles which cause him to take the red card

he is a good player but he gets nervous easily

i mean no offense to the red devil striker or you... but i think that he clearly deserves all sending offs which he accumulated. the red card during the portugal-england match. he completely lost his composure and he paid the consequences. but he is young and has a lot to learn. maybe the players on united can show rooney a thing or two about class.

He loses his temper easily and got a repute of a rude player; even if he changes his behavior, the referees will always prefer to give the card to him even if he doesn't do anything wrong!
