"Survivor" happens to be one of the two reality shows that I watch now. The other one is "The Apprentice". These are the only shows that seemed to make sense to me. "Survivor" has its 9-member jury to select the winner. And Donald Thrump knows his business as to who would make a good apprentice.
"American Idol", "America's Next Top Model" and other reality shows has lost my vote. These shows can pick and chose who the producers want to win despite who is the best.
