Who do you think would win and why if it was the rock vs "late 1990's" shawn michaels(what i mean by late 1990's hbk is when he was in his prime before he had his back injury)

Shawn Michaels was always over-hyped and undersized. His popularity and scripted success was based on personality and attitude. The Rock has size, strength, and a mean streak. Plus, the Rock can match Shawn Michaels in personality and attitude as well. No contest: The Rock!

I'm sorry I can't honestly answer your question because I don't know which Rock you're talking about. If you're talking about 1999-2003 Rock then I think honestly The Rock would win. Too much offense for Michaels. And Michaels was all superkick in the 90's. I just watched WWE 24\7 and watch a younger Michaels fight and I can honestly say that when the Rock kicked out of that superkick (which he would) what would Michaels do? The Rock he always had the big three: the People's elbow, the Rock Bottom, and the Sharpshooter.

The Rock and Shawn Michaels are both good wrestelers.A Hardcore match id say Shawn Michaels b/c if it was a match where they allowed anything DX Would back him up,i say that b/c on a 1 on 1 The Rock would really take em down.The only thing shawn michaels can do is The Kick.Plus hes not even a true famous Wresteler.

Shawn Michaels is the better performer overall but the Rock is the bigger draw so he'll win.

well this is what i think
HBk would wiun and im not just saying that because i love hbk i am saying that because the rock is just like cena they both cant wrestle they can beat people up and they can preform and thats it they dont ever do any WRESTLING moves look at shawn or hbk wrestle he can do wrestling moves like the hip toss and stuff and thats why he would win because the rock JUST SUCKS!

i think shawn michaels bcuz the rock wouldnt be able to take advantage of his back injury and the fans seem to like him more

I think that would be an awesome match, it's kind of hard to say because they were both good. I think it would be kind of equal, because some times one person would win; and the other person would win, but it is fake.
