Ever heard of "false intelligence"? Show me, and everyone else, the yellowcake. If you can't, which is the case, go away and come back with knowledge.

Knowledge is power, try it sometime.

Here, I'll even do it for you:

I don't hate the war in Iraq so can I forget about John Kerry?

Notice I actually asked a question. What is yours?

One of the great things about being a Democrat is that I have no duty to defend the actions of members of my party that were clearly wrong. I didn't like their votes then, and I said so.

Now, how about a Republican admitting that the invasion was a mistake?

Are you willing to make the distinction between going to Iraq in the first place, and staying there years after "Mission Accomplished"?

We went over there. Can't change that now. We deposed Saddam. Few argue that was a bad thing. We toppled the old government. Done. Mission Accomplished.

But we're still there. Years later, we're still there.

Why can't people accept the huge distinction between the initial invasion to depose Saddam, and the years spent there after Saddam was gone? Why is is so hard to realize that those are two very different situations, and that maybe just maybe people might make different choices based on the different facts.

That is because they were fed the same false intelligence that was created in the executive branch, the difference is when they found this out then they were against the war. You called it waffling I call it admitting a mistake. To bad about you never admitting a mistake.

they all voted for it during a time when no one knew that some of the intelligence was inaccurate...that's why John Kerry changed his mind about the war; he heard the intelligence was wrong and reconsidered his position on the war.

If you're in favor of the war in Iraq, don't forget that all the violence in Iraq and the war between Israel and Lebanon is a direct result of overthrowing Saddam Hussein.

You all say he (Bush) showed them false intelligence? So did he falsify this information or did the intellgence departments from the U.S. and most of the free world send him false intelligence information? I would think if your aligations were true it would have been easily proven by now. Besides if Bush is the dummest president we've ever had what does that say about the intelligence of our congress if he could fool them? And what does it say about your intelligence for believing that a majority of congress could be duped by such a dummy? lol

Agreed. And I will not vote for any of them again. There were a few who voted against it, including only 1 Republican. I didn't vote for Kerry (or Bush) in 2004, either.

I didnt support Bush or Kerry. I supported the war against the taliban and bin laden, but not the war in iraq. None of the camdidates were any good. they all talk out of both sides of their faces. Anything to gain support. even if they contridict themselves

Thank you!! Finally A good question. We would not be at war if the democrats did'nt vote yes to let us go over there!! But let's put all the blame on the republicans for the economy and the war boo-hoo. All democrats have to get over it! Just like the voting machines democrats say they are rigged to win elections but hey, some of the democrats won with them so they must be right!!

The war in Iraq is a mistake, and all the congresspeople -- democrats and republicans alike -- are gutless tools who are too afraid of what happened in 9/11 to take a stand against it.

Yes. They are ALL tools.
