how do i delete a yahoo screen name?

-- Click on "My Account" which you will find right next to the sign out button; this will take you to the page that will say Yahoo ID card.
--Your public information will be on your right where you will see all your public profiles listed. Click on "Edit/Create Profile" and delete the screen name you want to delete.

If yo mean the Q & A screen name. You don't delete it, you just change it. You change it by clicking on the avatar, than edit my info. There is a box that says use another nickname. You erase the current one and put a new name.

Well, I think you just go to your account and delte it. Otherwise what I do is just create a new account a totally forget about the old one and after a few months yahoo! deletes it for you.
