I think he should be able to keep it, it is his own garden. They could make him get rid of the part that makes it emit smoke etc. but he should at least be able to keep the actual thing.

What are your views?

Councils can be real buggers. This guy has put alot of work into this and I know if I was him I'd be pretty pissed and ready for a fight. Good luck to him and his doomed ship. Lets just build one Titanic that's lucky!!

Not aware of the story, but knowing council planning department's rules regarding only employing anal retentives, I can't say I'm surprised.

I think it's fine. I wonder what the big deal is anyway...people can get so ridiculous about names and history. Why not build the ship? That's cool!

I think it's silly that the council should interfere so-much . it's meant to help people not hinder them
