I think he means it! That's a good thing, because those adversaries, weather they be political or enemies of this country realize the waiting game isn't working. For all they know, the next guy in that job, may be just as determined as GWB to see that the good guys are the winners.

Bush and his staff should take their butts to Iraq And go fight their dirty little war by themselves While he's at it all the blind sheep that are his followers can join him here . WE have no business being there Iraq has no links to 9-11 Nor has there been any truth in any of the reasons Bush has given for our being there and our continued presence there. Let the people of Iraq run their own affairs as they see fit. They do not Need us telling them how to run their country. There were no insurgents in Iraq until after Bush started his dirty little war The F'in Coward could not even fulfill his obligation in the Air national Guard. He skipped out and got away with it. The moron Never finished Afghanistan where the terrorist organizations were in control before he goes off and invades Iraq NOW we have the same bunch moving right back into there Swift move Mr. Bush Real swift Go fight your war by yourself you Freakin' idiot.

He's an idiot. This statement about being all for continuing a war comes from a yellow-bellied draft dodger who refused to serve in the military during the VietNam era and got Daddy to get him into the Air National Guard where he spent more time AWOL than anything else. It will never happen of course, but it would be nice to see him spend one day on the front lines in a uniform.

He's right. As long as he's President, we will not leave Iraq. Does anyone doubt that?
Personally, I think he's right to stay at this point. We'll be better off if we never went in, but now there's a huge power vacum there. Leaving now would make the world much more dangerous to Americans and the West then before we went in.

We can't leave now. No matter how poorly planned and executed this has been. The stakes are too high to leave. Most Americans are furious with what has gone on with this. Even the Republicans with balls enough to say what they actually believe, instead of marching lockstep with the the ****** ,I mean leaders, who called the shots, know how bad these guys messed up. Check out comments from some of the guys who actually fought in wars, like John McCain and Chuck Hagel.

i do not agree with going to war in the first place, but now that we have, I think it would defeat the purpose to pull out of Iraq now. It would just condition the terrorists to know that if they just wait, they will get their way.

I think he has said that all along. Apparently Clinton and Leiberman also see the justification for us being there. Perhaps the President needs to do a better job of reiterating our reason for being there, and our continuation of presense in the area.

That is probably to true, he is reaping to much money from the war, why would he want to pull the troops out now and end all of that. However if the majority in congress changes in November we could see them cut funding and end the war that way, I doubt this would happen as it would put the solders that are doing as good as job as they can in jeopardy.

Think we the American families of the military should send Bush and ALL his staff members over there to fight the war he started over "his own family politics." Bring our families home and see how far he gets!! Just another typical UNWANTED BUSH!!
