me and my guy are great together but my mom thinks he not adn i'm not happy i'm very happy with my guy i lvoe him and i can't wait until we get marry then we cna have own lift to together without my mom and dad

They probably think they are looking out for your best interests, and they may very well be; regardless of that though it is your life to live as you want. Your parents will (should) always stand by you no matter what decision you make. Good Luck!! :)

I tend to agree with Rexy. Ask your parents if you haven't why they have a problem with the guy. They have a great deal of time, money, and emotion invested in you and they want you to be happy not unhappy. What is it they see?
If you respond that your guy doesn't respect you and "sometimes" does things that make you unhappy, you need to realize those things are going to get a lot worse very, very, very fast. And they'll never get better--only worse.

I hate to admit this, but Mom's always been right about the guys I've dated. I didn't want to see the forest through the trees so to speak. When it didn't work out and the dust settled, it pains me to type this, but she was right on the money.
I wouldn't take their opinion as the final word, but I would take it into consideration. If you parents love you, which I'm sure they do, they're just trying to keep you from getting hurt later on. That's their job.

You sound very immature, sometimes we don't want to listen to our parents, but in the long run they are 99% right. They are more experienced in the love department, maybe you should yield to the warning, cause when things don't turn out right you will be the one with a broken heart and your moms "i told you so". Lots of luck! Maybe mom seen something that we were to blind to see.

Love is blind... You parents have your interest in their hearts from the second you were born.. they probably see things you don't.. Just remember this.. boy friends, fiance's & husbands can come & go.. they may never stay by your side till they day they die... but your parents will always be their no matter what... One day you will have a child.. and you will know what I am saying

well it depends how old u are. but if you like gettin married for the first time and your parents have been married for a really long time then they know more than you do and they just want you to be happy and have a good life...they love you...they just wants whats best for you...and i would want my parents to like the guy i fall in love one day.....well i wish u the best of luck and hopes everything goes well..

i don't know how old you are you sound very young , but there is more to love than to love, there is a job, communication, money, which is the number one killer in most peoples relationships, education and i am sorry but you always need mom and dad, i still do!!!!!!!!!! what about when you have children , and you want a romantic night out who is going to watch the grandkids, i think you need to think a little harder, is this your first crush......

it's real hard when your parents doesnt agree with what you fell towards your man.. but try to see if they have a point why they dont like your man.. i know this is an old sayin but they just want the best for us.. usually we overlooked that but they are really after our welfare.. and no matter what happen it is only your family that will stick with you no matter what...oh wait there's one more and He's up above!

When I was younger, I probably could care less what my parents thought. But now that I'm old enough to realize it, parents are very perceptive, and they are almost always dead on when it comes to your relationships. You do what you want, but just know your parents are probably right and one day you may regret jumping into a marriage with him.
