I LOVED that show. Remember Gene Gene the Dancing Machine?
It was gobs of fun and was recently featured on the series 50 Greatest Game Shows.

I liked it when the host, Chuck Barris, faked a clap and the audience clapped. Also when he referred to Jaye P. Morgan as "the juice." Yeah, there were a lot of awful acts on there. Especially the two girls who did nothing but eat popsicles. It was supposed to look sexual, I think.

Yes. Wasn't Howie Mandell on that show with a rubber chicken and stretching a doctor's glove over his head? I don't know for sure but that's what I've always thought.

Yes! It was probably the dumbest TV show on the air, yet at the same time one of the most entertaining.

Gong show is a lot of fun. Just silly humor in an uptight world. They should put it back on.
