communication is very important, and yes I think it is the reason for the breakdown of families and relationships. If you don't communicate with one another, how will you know what the other person is feeling. But also remember, communication can be expressed in many ways, not just orally. So if you ever have a hard time talking to someone, try another way of communicating, such as writing a letter, e-mailing or maybe just a simple hug. Sometimes after me and my boyfriend have an argument, I am too stubborn to apologize or admit I was wrong. so I just simply walk up to him and hug him or kiss him. that way I won't have to actually apologize or admit that I was wrong, but I communicated to him how I felt.

communication is the biggest problem that occurs in familys if there are no communication with mom / dad / children, etc something will tend to happen and someone will end up regreting it. that is why there is such a high divorce rate. also you need to tell one another how you feel because you can not read each other's minds / communication is the key to a successful relationship.

Nope. It's the kind and type and content of the communication. Not to mention the deep feelings way down inside the members of the family. If they were respected and treasured and valued by their parents and taught to respect others they'll get along with others a whole lot better than if they were taught otherwise.

Bingo! That's why you do better to marry someone you also see as a friend. Someone you can talk with and share a similar intellect. Passion fades, and if you have nothing to talk about, you will drift apart. Or, end up in counseling were the main objective will be: to teach you to communicate. Ta-da!

absolutely, girls can never just speak their minds, its always a question you dont know how to answer, or you just simply supposed to know. and men normally arent willing to put in the amount of effort it takes to figure out the real problem. and from there things just go downhill, so yes communication is a problem.

It would be 85% the problem I think - good question to ponder.

The other 15% is because some people are just so god damn selfish and don't respect other people.
