Since they never see the light of day, if you were wounded and your internal organs were exposed to sunlight, would they instantly get burned, or does our skin let light inside our body? or is there a protective membrane around all of our organs, i just keep picturing a solider holding his guts and his guts are smoking...

I would think that if you had organs exposed to the sun a sunburn would be the least of your problems.

All will dry out very quickly in air and sun.
