Can anyone point me in the direction to find any original works by Edward Dorn or Richard Brautigan. They were two of the best American writers of Poetry and Prose. Any help would be really appreciated.

Amazon pulls up a several books by both of the writers you're interested in.

If you're interested in stories about Brautigan himself, one of my old profs was a friend of his and has several short stories about their times together up on his website (as long as you don't mind a little strong language!): http://www.troutball.com/Brautigan/index.htm

I have a complete collection of all first edition Brautigan books.

Some are even signed!

You should check ebay, there are lots of decent rare book dealers. Here's a tip: Brautigan is a semi-tricky word to spell, so search variations of it to allow for seller's misspellings. A lot of times people won't know what they have when they post an item, especially in the rare book field.

I would suggest you try Powells Books. It is a great resource for rare books. It even has a wish list in which you can post books you are looking for and Powells will contact you when one becomes available. They will even hold it for you for a couple days. I've found a couple of out of print books there.

Hope this helps.

I recommend www.bookfinder.com. That's where used book dealers and rare book dealers post their books for sale.
