Going into last season Martin Brodeur was an obvious choice.
There are far more Questions this year.
Is Cam Ward the real deal?
Can Hasek stay healthy?

The Devils were relying on Brodeur more often last season after the loss of Niedermayer and Stevens. He struggled in the beginning, but now that he has adjusted to it I think he's going to play better. Kipprusoff is going to be really good for Calgary too, but the Flames have a better defense so he's not going to be saving the day as often. Cam Ward will be good one day but this is just his second season and without Gerber watching his back, he's not going to be a star yet. As for Hasek, he's too old anyways but I think he's going to get injured again by playoff time.
My pick is Brodeur with Kipprusoff and Luongo close behind.

I would go with Kipper. However i belive there will many good contenders, Luongo may finally get some attention in Vancover, Raycroft i belive wil regain form in Toronto, as he is a perfect fit,. I do Disagree with Hasek being on the list, he is the most over rated goalie in the league right now. He did have a good run with The sens til he was injured and im sure he would have taken the sens further. But i simply belive he is too old and should have stayed retired, detroit was stupid not to resign Legace and go with Hasek, itsa real gamble (i like detroit) and hope it blows up in their face. I love Broduer, he has set the bar for goaltenders in the league, but sadly a goaltender is only as good as the defense in front of him and jersey doesnt have much going for them, with the departure of Niedermeyer and the retirement of Stevens Last Season.
I think Cam Ward is the real deal and hope does well this season, I dont think he will be a Veizna contender this year, but he will be in years to come.

Cam Ward is the real deal but it will only be his second season and first full season as #1 give it time and he will shine. Hasek is done and out he will be injured before the holidays and the Wings will realize that they did a very big mistake on signing him and not keeping Legace.

Brodeur will always be top, Luongo know with a really good team will also be right up their. the Kipper will have way more help up front now with the pick up of Tanguay which Iginla will score over 50 goals this season. Turco always has the numbers in the regular season but falls apart come playoffs. and Nabokov will shine again now with a greater team in front of him.

Ryan Miller will chock this up coming season he is simply another Jim Carey(WAS).

and if Cristabol Huet shines as he did last season the Habs will be very tough to beat. so look out for Huet.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!

HIP HIP HUET!!!!!!!!!

Kiprusoff he just gets better with age and Raycroft could return to form and surprise alot of people.. Gerber will be a disappointment to all sens fans due to the fact he never was that good.. the sens are the lowest form of hockey team the league has ever known at least you got rid of Havlat the groin kicking baby and moved him out of the conference...

Cristobal Huet_ Montreal Canadiens. Clearly he's the # 1 goalie now and will play a whole lot more games. Last year he had 7 shutouts in a 20 game span and had the best save percentage.

I like Mikka Kipuresoff, he is a great goalie, his defense is the best in the league, and his division got considerably weaker over the off-season
