a professor that I am interested in?
- he is 2 yrs. older than me
- he is Not married
- he is a part time VL
- I'm a grad student
- I felt that we have a lot in common
I felt like we clicked but I'm scared to initiate anything. He's not even teaching next semester. Guys or Prof., what the best way for a girl to approach you in this type of a situation?

I would have to say usually man cannot not respond when a woman initiates given that woman doesn't have physical deformity or bad personality. Why? Because man doesn't have to do the work.

If you are going to initiate, I think you would have to think like man do when man initiates to approach a woman. There's no formula. Be a little strategic, and just use your common sense.

If it were me, I would give subtle hints, like talking after class, keeping eye contact longer than necessary, etc. Unfortunately, he will not be able to have any real relationship with you (ethically) while you are his student. You have to find out where his office is (easy enough) and make it part of your route while on campus -accidentally bump into him after your class w/him is over.....
