African Americans as a whole have never done anything completely evil to anybody. Also, I've never come across a racist black person.

Anyone can be racist....even a black person. Sure White's have a history of oppression and racism which resentment is understandable however racism still occurs in the black community.

Now society has become so crazy I am noticing a trend where Different races go out of their way for those of another race just to show they are not racist but are treating people of the own race differently...this I am now calling Compensatory Racism!

I haven't seen a racist black person!! There all nice to me!! But one thing to think about is If Black people can have the "united ***** College" and it's ok right?? But if a white person starts a college for White people only then The White people are Racist!! Or when the illegal mexicans protest for rights when their illegal is ok right??? But when A white person says something about it or protest against the mexican's then The White People are called Racist!!! Either way you look at it, nothing's gonna change!! Something to think about!!

Racism is a preconcived notion of how a group of people will act, based on their ethnicity. A person can be racist, even if they are part of a minority. It is hard for any one, no matter what their race not to make generalzations about other people. Just look at you, you think an entire group of people can't have any members that are racist. That's a preconcieved notion right there.

Well, you can't call any race in particular racist. It all depends on the individual. It is possible for a black person to be racist if they hate someone because of their race.
Here are some definitions of racism, because I think you might be a little confused:
- The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
- a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.
- the prejudice that members of one race are intrinsically superior to members of other races 2: discriminatory or abusive behavior towards members of another race

It is always the white people fault that they have a hard life, no money, no education, ETC. Every time someone makes a statement like that, it is racism. Not all are like that tho. I have know some smart, well to do, decent black people. It is just what they choose to do with their life. Like stay in school and NOT join the local gang to sell drugs. Things like that. And have you ever heard of the genocide in Rwanda? All because of race and ethnicity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rwandan_Genocide
Edi Amin, Shaka, Belgian Congo massacres, etc the list goes on.

It was black tribes on the ivory coast that sold their people to europeans. Read some history befor you start posting falsehoods.

You call a black person a racist that same way I would call you a racist...YOUR A RACIST!!!! Equality comes when we quit judgeing according to race therefore your question and comment are racist. It is not the color of ones skin that makes him good or evil.

black people are just as racist as any person in America. I have had black friends admit to me that they can't stand white people...my question is: How can a person who is considered a minority NOT be racist? I mean, with all the racist comments thrown at them practically on a daily basis, how can they NOT grow to resent or even hate the race who is causing this turmoil? you are so naive.

I have come across quite a few racist black people. Going by your argument, unless a race does something evil as a whole it doesn't count as racism? Come on use a better argument then that.

The implication is that the word "racist" means something negative. Saying that all people of any race are (good, bad, smart, stupid, ugly, beautiful, greedy, giving) is a racist remark in itself. Every individual has an array of qualities that will make them behave differently in different situations. "There are no racist black people," is a racist comment, though it is not necessarily a put-down.

Racism is hatred of a race strictly because of it's being different of your own. You can be black and be racist. How is it OK for a black person to hate a white person for being white, but racist for a white person to hate a black person for being black? Both are wrong. People are people, and we bleed the same color. Meaning we all have feelings which get hurt when we are judged solely by the color of our skin.
