has any one ever heard of pups in pregnant woman it is a rash ?

the doc said it is called pups some pregnant woman get it. It is like a rash or little bumps all over and they itch. It is suppose to be normal from what the doc said. I have never heard of this.

LOL...I can understand your confusion. I have never heard a doctor tell a patient about it by the medical term of PUPS. Actually PUPS is an acronym for Papular Urticaria of Pregnancy Syndrome. Most doctors just tell the woman she has a pregnancy rash.

Yes, this is a very common rash that occurs in pregnancy. Severe cases may require a course of prednisone and some woman have the rash their entire pregnancy!
