Just made a new website called Musopen
http://www.musopen.com
I'm wondering what people think of the name.
I'm trying to make it sound like open source or free music
public domain music. So i thought musopen might sound like open music, open source music.
Any thoughts? it's very hard to get domain names now.

It's not bad, actually. Does Gooogle sound like a search engine? The name will not make you, you will make the name.

Yea, know what u mean about domain names. Given the limited selection of names, musopen.com sounds like a creative name. If u really don't like it try messing around with the words u would use to describe music. Some sites have names that make little or no sense at all. Sounds good to me.

Honestly when i looked at it before I read your additional information. I did not know what it was.
You need something catchy... when you see the link you know what it is directing you to
....at first it seemed that it was for the U.S. Open
