Oh, this is funny.
I used to be a boss, for five years. Now, I'm low on the totem pole and in job transitions. My boss is the worst person I have worked for, and I'm wondering if karma is in effect. Why? Well, I know I wasn't a bad boss, but I wonder if maybe sometimes I got under people's skin. I was hard, but it was because their work affected my work and I wanted them to grow and learn in their job. I was respectful and nice, but sometimes the employees were lazy and disrespectful.
Now, I'm the underdog, and my new boss, a terrible person. She is the worst boss I've ever had, and I've had some bad ones. Sometimes I try to see it from her view, sometimes I try to analyze my past management abilities.....but you learn as you get older.
My boss, not only does she gossip about me, (and she knows absolutely nothing about me), but she stands over me like a vulture and ridicules everything I do. She yells at me in front of people, and blatantly lies to me about things. If I am right about something, she calls me a liar and basically tells me I am wrong. She also does really stupid things...gets upset and throws things, curses, yells, gossips about people....but I just stand there with my mouth shut! I hate working with her, and I am trying to find a way to get over her attitude problem and to tune her out. To just do my job and ignore her and not let her get to me. So........She's out of control. She's insane. Clearly nuts...and she will never ever admit she is wrong. NEVER...and we have conflicting personalities. I hate it, I hate working there, I can't stand her, but I deal...and soon enough, when I walk out of that job, I wonder...will I be waving my middle finger as I walk out with a manical laugh, or will I just be professional and let it go. I wonder...what will I do? Probably the latter.....if I can manage myself and my actions....

Bosses from hell are fairly common. You have to assess the pros and cons of working for that company. High wages and generous benefits justify sticking it out with even the meanest, craziest, stupidest boss. In that case, shut up and work your derriere off. Low wages and pitiful benefits justify walking out the door and pursuing a better life.

i do not comprehend you, yet i love you reason you walk humorous and Soundproof likes you. My first husband became like that and that i ultimately ditched him. This one receives slightly controlling each from time to time, and oftentimes I basically ignore about it. What were given my interest even with the undeniable fact that became your rigidity ailment. i'm positive I easily have a gentle one myself. at the same time as my husband immigrated from Russia, he became sixty 2. So I taught him how tochronic. He hates it after I criticize him, no matter if it occurs to narrate to the way he drives the motorized vehicle. I easily were driving for 39 years now. finally, I had to easily enable him hit a persons' automobile because he became too conceited to hearken to me. He hit a nun - scraping her. became it an act of God? Who is popular with, even with the undeniable fact that the nun became rather sweet about it. She even gave me a hug. per chance God did attempt to coach your husband a lesson too. i do not fairly evaluate myself to be a Christian any more desirable. i'm an Agnostic Theist. yet, i'm positive that God had no longer something to do with everybody finding out that the spouse is the "resources" of the husband. those are basically adult adult males writing controlling stuff, and they are on a plausible vacation. i'm happy to listen on your rigidity ailment might want to be managed. I basically take some puffs of "Rescue medical care" and drink Camomile tea. My nerves are shot too and my concepts are scattered too. that is time for different human beings to p.c.. up the slack.

My boss is actually pretty great. His boss is questionable. and HIS boss is grossly incompetent and pretty much an evil person, to boot. Consequently, I am looking for a new job.

I am just scared, scared, scared of everybody in my workplace. I don't see anything bad in them. If I had more self-confidence, I wouldn't feel that way.
Bosses are human beings too, you know. If you feel that way about your boss, why not try being kind to him/her? It isn't an easy job to have, I would imagine.
