easy. use an eye pencil and sharpen it till the tip is very thin, then wet a cue tip and lightly run the cue tip across your eyelid where you put on the eyeliner to even it out! works well for the bottom and try making a little bit of a thicker mark and do the same thing it will give you a smokey look. you can also place your finger at the end of your eyelid and pull to tighten and give you a smoother "canvas"!

Easy - Close the eye you are getting ready to line, with your opposite hand gently pull the outer edge of your eye lid. Using a soft pencil (not the kind that you have to sharpen, but you "twist" them up), simply start near your finger and make small short little lines along your lashes stopping near the middle, then start again near your nose and work towards the middle. By making short little lines, you are not so focused on the challenge of making one big straight line. If you have an eyeshadow brush, use it afterword to soften the line for a smokey look (or a q-tip will work as well).

It's kind of tricky to put eye-liner on your top lids, and it takes practice before you can master it. My advice to you is that you try to make the line as smoothe and as close to your lash-lines as possible while holding your eye-lid down with the other hand. You may need to go over it a time or two to make it a solid line. Just try to get as close to your lash-lines as you can.

i actually lift up my lid and put it from the inside sometimes it gets in my eyes but it works for me. use liquid eyeliner that works good for top to and just apply it think along the lash line :)

if you are using a pencil liner make sure you have a point. I have always found liquid liner easier to use. make sure your brush is thin. run your line along your lashes it takes practice. been doing it for a longggggggggggggggg time . good luck

it matters on whether you use pencil or liquid liner. if u use pencil u want to hold the pencil vertically towards ur eye. an apply as close to the eyelashes as possible. then if u use liquid apply horizontaly and apply lightly close toward the eyelashes
