I'll do you one better..
Paul- "The Long and Winding Road"
John- "Strawberry Fields Forever"
George- "While My Guitar Gently Weeps"
If I have to go for a song written by Ringo I'd say "Octopus's Garden", if I have to pick a song just sang by him it's definitely "With a Little Help From My Friends"...

Although most of the Beatles songs/compositions were credited to both John Lennon and Paul McCartney, there are a few that both actually wrote on their own:
1. Paul - Yesterday
2. John - Nowhere Man
...and both had/have beautiful masterpieces in their solo careers...

I might desire to declare that greater or much less I believe your pal. Musicians might nevertheless be musicians yet there is not any discounting the impression that the Beatles had. without the fab 4 the British Invasion would not have exploded into u . s . and paved the way for bands like the Stones, Cream, the Yardbirds, The Animals, and Led Zeppelin to reintroduce u . s . to artists that have been all yet forgotten here, alongside with Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, and Howlin' Wolf. Yeah bands might have performed something yet there is not any assure that their acceptance might have lept from the club scene in England. No Beatles, no British invasion..

To bobbi m: "Let It Be" is credited to Lennon/McCartney, but Paul actually wrote it. When he refers to "Mother Mary", he is talking about his mother, Mary, who died when he was 14.
And to credible_bulk: "Imagine" is not a Beatles song. It was written by John Lennon after the split.
