If you are on a team...let's say...Xavier Nady, who was traded from the mets to the pirates...and let's say the mets wint the world series [which wont happen] Does nady get a ring, even though he was traded mid-season?

id bet the mets will offer a ring to xavier nady if they go all the way and win the world series.

no he wont. the only thing the team would vote on, is if he gets a share of the WS earnings. this happend when the redsox traded nomar, and voted to see if he earned a share or not. 25-0 vote said he deserved a share. no ring though.
sometimes, famous players like johnny pesky and yaz got rings. depends on how the franchise is.

This is up to the team. What happens is that the 25 that are on the WS roster will vote if any additional shares or money will be rewarded. It is up to the owner on who if anyone will get a ring.

It's up to the team, however, when Boston won, Nomar did get a ring, givin to him in private by Jason Variteck when the Sox can to Wrigley.
