I feel like they keep showing the same horror scenes over and over again. I remember how horrible we all felt that day and it just comes back all over again. Why are we supposed to keep reliving this nightmare over and over again in the media?

I DON'T watch them folks, I see the ads for them. Stop telling me to NOT watch them. I can't help see the ads on tv and in newspapers though. Geez, people are so rude on here.

I did not lose anyone in the 9/11 disaster, but it's hard for me to understand what purpose (other than trying to make money for the studios) these films serve. My husband died four years ago and I would certainly not want to have to revisit the day he died over and over and over again. Everyone heals in his/her own way, but this doesn't "feel" healthy to me.

It's very unsettling to watch these programs and movies about the terrorist attacks on America even after five years. However, I think we all need to remember that day and the families whose lives were torn apart as well as the victims who died such horrible deaths. If we forget, will we support our government when they try their best to protect us from further attacks? If we forget, will we realize that our fighting men and women are fighting terrorism around the world so that another 9/11 won't happen? These programs are not for entertainment; they are to remind us how lucky we are to still be alive and how demonized the terrorists still are and the dangers we must still address every day.

I think it is pretty morbid to be making movies about it. The reality was so much worse than any dramatization.... I would like to think that people keep bringing this up so that no one ever forgets what happened. We can't afford to be complacent like we were before 9/11. But then again, in Hollywood, it's probably all about making another buck....

I can't say why the media is showing the events over again, but I do believe that its important not forget the significance of what happened that day.

When I saw the tv commercial for World Trade Center the movie, I became short of breath. 5 years has not erased the trauma for me.

Just choose to not watch them if they bother you. I personally wont watch any of that stuff- the movies, the shows, whatever, because I dont feel like its right to be profiting off of the tragedy. But all I can say for you is exercise your right of choice and dont watch if it bothers you- others have the right to watch if they so choose.

That's how I felt about the news coverage after the attacks. It was like they just wanted to keep reinserting the dagger so to speak and wouldn't let people just heal. Just let people heal! It's not like anyone is going to forget.

I know. I feel as if Hollywood's making a..I don't know...a caricature about it. I don't like it. Just like the movies about the war in Iraq? I don't care for them at all.

Yeah, I get tired of it too. And I'm even more tired of politicians who use that trauma for crass political purposes. Like invading Iraq.

it's their way to make money off a tragedy, it makes me sick and i refuse to see any of them. if they put all the profit toward the familys of the victims i may think differently.
