I want to put a picture up of my awesome new car (complete with a personalized vanity license plate!), but is that a bad idea? Should I just edit out my license plate? Or is there really no harm with people knowing your license plate number?

Edit out the license plate #. It could be bad if someone gets hold of it, since, you know, some people ARE psycho and would use programs to look your information up. Why do you think they do it on the television? For a very good reason.

Your license plate is on the back of your car anyway for all the world to see. You plate is not a private ID number, it's a matter of public record.
But, i suppose people could pay to track down your lic plate number and then see where you live. I guess I'd block it out. Why not, right?

Dont put your license on the Internet because anyone that has access can take your license plate number and find out EVERYTHING about you..
