I personally think she is mosty full of s***.
I have seen her on the Montel Williams show quite a few times.
as soon as someone asks her anything , she has the answer in specific details in a matter of seconds. I don't care what you ask her, she knows instantly what the answer is . where your dead loved one is , who killed them, what kind of car they were driving. the month and year that you will have a child. what sex it will be.
ANYTHING, she has the answer. She even said on the show that she knew where Jimmy hoffa's body was but she wouldn't say because she was afraid that she might lose her gift. I don't remember what her reasoning was. But i thought, why the hell can't she say where he is? he is a murder victim. He has a family that would love to know where he is and be able to give him a proper burial. I do believe in psychics to some extent . but i don't believe that anyone is that gifted. To have the answer to any question in a matter of seconds.

These so called psychics study the same things the FBI studies to see how people respond to questions. You ask about a dead person they say "I see a tall thin older woman around you often" to a tall thin woman and she will automatically think of a tall thin dead relative. The psychic takes this then adds to it by the body language and what they say to her after that. On the Montel show she has given the name of killers to the guest. The name is bleeped out. I'd like to know how many people have the police arrested from the info she has given out on his show.

I believe she is a charlatan mainly because of the reasons quoted below.

a.) I do not remember the place and date but there was a tragedy where 13 miners were trapped underground and 12 died. Sylvia Brown ,apparently, took a volteface and changed her statements completely on that issue.

b.) She has denied any and all requests for scientific exploration of her abilities.

c.) She was awarded 200 hours of community service. I wonder if a psychic, worth his/her salt could have foreseen and actually avoided that!

I have to ask, did you lose someone close to you recently? You act like you hate the thought of a psychic, and yet want there to be real ones. Sylvia has a gift all right, but it is the gift of gaining money from manipulating the facts around her. Anything more, I don't know. That's enough for the public psychics though.

I think she is a real psychic, but I think that everyone is. It just depends on how tuned in we are. HOWEVER, I don't think she is as talented as she acts. Years ago I was watching Montell when she was on. The family of a missing little girl named Erica Baker was on. Sylvia told the girls mother that she was alive. Not only that, but that she had been kidnapped and sold into child sex slavery in southeast Asia. What a bunch of bull! The little girl was from Dayton, Ohio. I live bout 20min away and to this day the case makes headlines. The family knows Erica is dead. They just want her body! They even kinda know what happened. Ever since a hate watching Sylvia Brown! I have also lost a lot of respect for Montell for bringing her back all the time!!!

I saw her on Montel too. I am not sure. I do believe that some people have psychic powers, but there are so many I feel skeptical about. Especially when they use peoples emotions to advance themselves

I don't know HOW gifted she really is,,, but I've watched Montel Williams a few times and she comes off cold and heartless to some of these people that are coming to her for help. They are in tears wanting to know where their missing family member is and she just replies with extreme coldness " oh, their dead. Next?" It hurts her credibility with myself. :)

Sylvia Brown always claims her her gift is God-given. However, she appears to be very pompous and condescending...not all the way you would think someone who is spiritually-gifted would, or should present themselves. She also charges around $700 for a reading. One has to wonder how much of that money she gives to God?

there are some secrets that they have that they cannot reveal but the location of hoffa's body is not something that would cause one to loose her powers.
