Angle 1 is x and angle 2 is y

x = 5y-6

y + 5y-6 = 90

6y = 96

y= 16

and even though you just need angle 2, angle 1 is 74

MollyMAM answer is correct:

angle < 1 = 74 and angle < 2 = 16

angle < 1 + angle < 2 + 90 = 180 degrees

right angle is 90 degrees and you have enough evidence to come up with another 90 degrees don't you? given one is 6 degrees less than 5 times angle #2 all try angles are a total of 180 degrees OK draw a right angle on paper horizontal line and vertical line now knowing 90 divided by five=... minus 6 =....there are the other two angles make sure that two angles totaled are 90 degrees. The Greek Isosceles came up with thing and it is the basis of almost any building and range finding and distance measurement.
