24 volt. No power source included. Tell me what I can do with it. I was told it must be a high quality because of the 24 volt. No name on the unit. Sony chip inside as well as minolta chip.

Chuck it. Without the control head in the monitoring room it's useless.

You need to find the model number if you can - then you may be able to google that. Without more information it is hard to say what can be done. In part it depends on the type of output it has. the comment about "it must be high quality because it uses 24V" is a bunch of .....
That's the same as saying Nigel's amp must be better because it goes to 11. It has no relevance to the quality of the camera.
For you, what matters is this: what was it meant to connect to? A normal video output? If so, it would have had some kind of coax connector. F, BNC, or possibly even RCA - but no more than 2 wires. If that is the case, you may be able to hook it up to any TV that has an AUX input. If you've only got 2 wires for output, try powering it up, and measuring the voltage across the output with a DVM - see if it's less than 0.7V - if so, you may be good to go. If, on the other hand, it had a digital output.. the connector on the back would have many wires, and you'd be SOL.
You can also try googling the part numbers on the chips you've identified.
