Just call or go to the website for whatever county you want to get married in...they'll be glad to keep you posted, because fall is a big tourist time for 'em.

Mountains around here are only smokey in summer, due to bush fires. So when there is a bush fire but you will have to be quick - one of those comes through the leaves change real quick!
Sorry, you meant the Smokey Mountains!

third week of october is generally the peak time here in WNC. It changes abit with rainfall and temperature. higher altitudes change a little sooner and lower altitudes a little later.
