you mean how far? like the distance? there's a little bar thingy in the corner (called a scale) that has numbers below it, and it shows you that, for example, one inch on the map is equal to 100 miles. You can then use either a ruler, or if you don't have one handy, you can put another piece of paper under this bar, and make marks on your paper showing where each end is, and then use this paper to help you measure. (Like 4 bars = 400 miles)
