wow ok. lets set this straight:
the idiot with the nomar comment, was joking.
second, the redsox arent stupid. we dont spend 200 million because you have already proved it doesnt work. funny thing is you guys set a record for attendence last year, and STILL LOST 8+ MILLION DOLLARS lol.
3rd, we dont ***** about how much you guys spend, just shows how much you know
4th, redsux is very very very very unoriginal. you arent even a yankees fan, you obviously are a bandwagoner like all the rest of you
5th, if we suck ,then why did we kick your *** when you were up 3-0 in the playoffs? whens the last time you won a ring? 2000.
yanks are going nowhere, spend 500 million, nobody cares. the only people who complain are teams like the royals and devil rays.
i agree a cap should be set. a soft cap at 50 million and a hard cap at 90 like the nba. itll never go through though, because the MLBPA will never accept that because that would mean paycuts, and cheap owners dont want to have to spend 50 million when they can spend 16 and make money.
remember, you have nowhere to insult the redsox, because all it takes is a trip down memory lane to 2004. i dont care if it was 86 years. all i know you guys melted down. so shutup and lets see how the season ends. still 35 games left

The Yankees can spend all the money they want, yet they still can't win when it comes to the playoffs. As for the Red Sox fans, I don't know why they whine about the Yankees payroll.

The Yankees two best players are from their minor league system(Rivera and Jeter). The Redsux 2 best were free agents(Papi and Ramirez) . Stick that Redsux fans
