I wouldn't want to bring a child into a family where the father does not want him. I cant do that to the baby or my husband.
Am I giving up too much for his happiness?

He told me he wanted children in the beginning. But we agreed to wait 6 yrs. Now it's been 10 yrs. What an awful lie! He said he doesn't want to share me with anyone. He said that he is my baby & I should be happy with that.

Hey me too. I am exactly the same. The only thing is that I will do anything to concieve. my "husband" did not want children, then I left. He did not want to fulfill my life dreams of becoming a mom, so I knew then, he was not the one for me. I am not pregnant yet, but I will be. I have faith and so should U!

You should have covered your stance on children before getting married in the first place! You should marry someone that does want children, or deal with having no children.

would a pet of some sort help? How about volunteering with children? I know neither would be the same, but they might help. Do you know any really annoying children? Maybe spending time with them will diminish the urge.

Just try and convince your husband. I felt the same way and my husband did not. I reminded him that it takes 9 months of baking! Two months after our talk he agreed and now he is so baby crazy!

I think I'd leave him and find a man that wants children. You'll never get over that feeling and eventually you'll make him cave and then he'll resent you and the kid.

i would start by babysitting someone else's baby for a weekend...
i would talk to my husband and find out why he doesn't want a baby...maybe he is just insecure about it

you want to be a mother. that is natural. talk to your husband and convience him to have just 1. if all works out 1 may lead to more.
