Yes, it takes time to travel

Yes. Time travel into the future has already been seen in a small scale with objects moving at high speeds. Travel into the past is theoretically possible but well beyond our current technology. If you are wondering why no time travelers from the future are here now, current theories don't seem to allow traveling back before the time machine was built.

yes, but probably only into the future. You see, if you left on a space ship travelling at close to the speed of light, you could visit the entire known universe in about 20 years ship time.

But, when you returned, millions of years would have passed on Earth, because time slows down when you speed up.

It would be doubtfull that even legends of your departure would still be known. No one would speak your language. Evolution would have altered the human race into something else. It would be like a Neanderthal suddenly appeared on the White House lawn. You would be lucky if you didn't end up in a zoo!

There is no known way we could travel to the past. So, it seems like what's done is done.

If you mean time travel in any direction no. However you are traveling in time right now. We are all going from the present to the future as I type these words.

I believe time travel is considered the 4th or 5th demention. If anyone were to harness this, they'd mess things up and change the entire course of history. It's a good thing that the time we are alloted is the time we were meant to be, so use it wisely.

"Touch a flower and you disturb a star" is a reflection on messing with time.

time travel is possible. time is like a tangable fabric or a sheet of paper (einstein). it can be folded in two and so forth. what you would do, is take the supposed time fabric and fold it to match, even up with the desired dates. By high amounts of energy all directed at this particular spot, a wormhole as it is known would emerge. this creation would allow transportation to and fro dates.

Ya but if u were to go into the past and u did something wrong the whole time matrix would b messed up like say u went back to the revolutionary war and did somthing incredible and ended up in a newspaper that was found in your time people would find out. even if u stepped on a moth it could screw up the time matrix and the time continuim.

There are theories that claim to say its possible - but it certainly not a reality yet - an maybe that is all for the best. All the havok that could be caused to the time line - all the people who might be saved or all the people who might be killed or never be - too dangerous.
